Sellers Removing Listing after bidding has begun
I'm just wondering is there's a policy regarding sellers who routinely list items at low starting prices and then after bidding has begun they remove the item because they are not happy with the the price achieved. No reserve price is statted. I've had this happen numerous times with crystal and minerals initially listed at $0.99. I bid say $10.00. No other bidders appear so the price stays at $0.99 and the seller withdraws the item. This has happened to me dozens of times. It seems unfair. If $0.99 is unacceptable, then they should list the item for what they will accept or just set the price or indicate the reserve has not been met. Otherwise, this feels like a baiting scam . I can't buy the item unless someone else buds against me. The item is really not for sale because there's no way for me to buy it.

Mentor10 months agoSeller will get his account flagged and still be charged fees. If he keeps doing this ebay will take note and restrict or suspend them. If you win the auction and seller lies saying you requested the cancellation you can report them for fee avoidance.
