Seller's cancellation on a low bid awarded item.
Seller canceled during the 7-day auction clearing process and still within the 4-day settlement period. Buyer stated I requested a cancellation. Purely a misstatement. What consequences do I the buyer and seller have? What's the policy when one can bypass it easily? I can safely assume the sale was lower than expected and the seller canceled for a better price. Is my thought within reason?

1. Select The seller has violated one of eBay’s policies and click Continue.
2. On the next page, enter the seller's ID and select Other.
3. In the comment section, write "In order to avoid a defect, seller cancelled order stating that I requested the cancellation ."
