Sellers allowed to accept offers after they expire -
From their website: "A seller can accept a Best Offer even after it expires if they choose to do so within the allowed time frame. When you make a Best Offer, the seller has 24 hours to accept, decline, or counter your offer. If they don’t respond within that time or the listing ends, your offer expires. However, sellers can still accept offers after expiration in some cases because the item remains available to other buyers until you complete payment. The offer acceptance does not guarantee the item until payment is made. If you have autopay enabled, payment is collected immediately upon acceptance, securing the item."
So the above says a seller can do this and when the eBay notice is not timely a buyer can buy another and end up seeing later they bought two items of the same. It is then the buyers job as they continue on this web page to try to fix this at the mercy of the sellers. I have tried to cancel both. One shows a label was made the other nothing (this is in eBay is not late with this also).
Really frustrating. As a seller we get notices of our sales late very often - I mean t can be many hours. Notices of purchases seems to be handled the same. Not in a buyers best interest to hear after they buy another one that the first one they made an offer for was accepted after that offers expiration - or if accepted by the seller and a late untimely notice was received after buying another.
Just the way this policy reads seems convoluted.
