Sellers account shut down during return
Summary: jw_booksgamingandmore experienced an issue with a damaged radio purchased from a seller whose account was later suspended on eBay. Although they were refunded, they were unable to return the item due to the seller's account status. lisa5768 advised that since the refund was issued, eBay considers the case closed, and the item is now theirs to decide what to do with.
I purchased a new radio from a seller, when I opened the box the radio had a damaged cd player. I submitted a request on eBay for a refund and return of the radio. The next day the seller approved the refund and I was given my money back. I get an email from eBay saying that I should be getting a follow up email on the return shipping label by such and such date otherwise contact eBay. A few days go by and I received nothing about it. When I opened the chat log to contact the seller, eBay had a notification on the messenger saying that the sellers account has been suspended or terminated. I’m unsure what to do with the radio now cause no matter how I try to get in touch with eBay, the order just says refunded and no option to print a return label.

Once you receive a refund eBay considers the case closed and there is no option to return the item. The item is yours to do with what you want, donate, repair, trash, it is up to you.
