Seller wont respond to messages
I purchased a product with a 5 year warranty. It has failed in 10 months. Seller will not respond to messages. What's my next move? Thanks!

Mentor2 weeks agoSorry. but nothing ebay or even the payment processor can help you with. You can try contacting the manufacturer, but it the seller was not an authorized dealer, they are unlikely to help you are well.
If you have the warranty in writing, the best you could do is file in small claims court, which you can do locally. Also if the seller is still listing this item, use the Report button on the listing to claim the ad is misleading as the warranty is not being honored.

Mentor3 weeks agoWarranty issues are between you and the seller and/or manufacturer. Ebay can't help you.
What type of product was it?

OP3 weeks agoI perfectly understand that! But what do I do if the seller ignores me? And I can even give them a bad review! It's a new driveshaft.

Mentor2 weeks agoNothing you can do.
Your buyer/seller relationship ended quite awhile back so although I don't personally do it this seller is well within their rights to ignore you after all this time.
You have 30 days on most items to open a case. Your had 60 days to leave feedback so not a thing on eBay can be done.

OP2 weeks agoSo the offered warranty means nothing? I get the seller is just that, a 3rd or 4th party seller. But shouldn't they respond with the needed info for me to attempt to use the advertised warranty? Their add clearly states to contact them for any issue. Oh well, I've been buying on ebay for many years, 1st issue! Thanks
