Seller won’t deliver item at price
Purchased a new watch (at “Buy it now†price) and seller now wants to cancel sale because they priced it lower than market price. Can they do that without offering buyer any compensation?

Mentor3 years agoYou are not entitled to any compensation if the seller cancels the sale, however if he cancels for out of stock/damaged, he will earn a defect on his selling record. Too many of those, and he won't be selling for long.
Just tell the seller you do not agree to the cancellation and want the item shipped at the price he set up in his listing as per eBay's User Agreement.
Then if he misrepresents the reason for the cancellation (by choosing the option that you requested it or an address problem), you can report that violation.
