Seller willing to refund, but eBay blocks it because item is marked as dispatched
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice.
An item I bought was never delivered. The parcel has been missing for over two months now, and during this time both the seller and I have been trying to resolve the issue directly with the carrier, without any success.
The seller is fully willing to issue a refund, but eBay won’t allow it because the item is marked as “dispatched / in transitâ€. The tracking never updated after collection and delivery was never confirmed.
Due to the length of time this has taken, the transaction is now outside eBay’s Money Back Guarantee timeframe.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is there a way for eBay support to manually enable the refund, or is there another proper way to resolve this through eBay?

It looks like you are in Brazil.
Assuming your seller is registered on eBay.com and the listing was on eBay.com, the seller can Send a Refund now, yesterday, tomorrow or a month ago.
To be clear, the seller is NOT blocked by eBay from sending a refund.
Either they don't know how to send a refund, or they are being dishonest with you.
Here are the steps for your seller can send a refund:
1) Go to your Sold order here: https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
2) Select "Send Refund" from the drop-down list to the right.
3) You will be able to select the exact amount of the refund to send.
4) Confirm the refund
