Mentor5 months agoYou are NOT obligated to pay any more for shipping than what is displayed on the listing. Just tell the seller you are looking forward to receiving the item. If the seller files a cancellation, make sure it is for Out of Stock. That will record a defect on his/her account. Any other reason and s/he does not get a defect recorded. Sellers need to enter accurate weight and dimensions for the packaged item so ebay can calculate the shipping price accurately. If the seller makes a mistake, s/he pays out of pocket.

OP5 months agomy item didn't ship yet, but seller relisted and it's still approx. the same ship cost listed? he states it's not enough to cover shipping so why relist at the same ship cost? not sure he is going to ship product?

Mentor5 months agoYou are not obligated to give any additional money for shipping unless you expressly asked for a different shipping method or service which costs more. The seller is responsible if they did not determine the proper shipping charge. If they refuse to ship or cancel the purchase come back for additional instructions.
