Seller wants me to go to my local Home Depot IN PERSON to do an exchange? Scam?
I purchased two identical tool box sets from a seller. It's been two weeks. I received one yesterday, and it was packed poorly, and badly damaged. I sent photos to the seller, and they have seen the photos. I have not received the other tool box yet.
The seller wants me to go to my local Home Depot IN PERSON (!) to return the damaged item, and supposedly pick up a new one. They have also offered to refund my money for both tool boxes. This is SO UNUSUAL. Is the local Home Depot visit 1) a scam, and/or, 2) is it against Ebay policy? I do not trust this seller. They have some poor feedback. Thank you.
