Seller wants direct return, not within eBay
I contacted eBay, and was told the seller accepting return, and showed me the same address the seller emailed me to send to. IT IS STILL NOT WITHIN EBAY refund. Seller is in China. His response: "Postal Code: 518000 (that is not my zip code) as I am unable to purchase the return label in your local area, please provide me with your PayPal account so that I can transfer the shipping fee to you. Once the item is returned to me for inspection, a refund can be issued." I'm supposed to trust I will get the refund after he gets the purchase back? He said he would refund via PayPal. I don't use PayPal. I purchased with debit card, thru eBay, and want it credited back to my card!

·5 months agoOpen the return through eBay if you haven’t already. But, the seller is right, if they are not in the same country as you they can’t send you a return shipping label to their country, they need to send you the funds (usually through paypal) so that you can purchase a shipping label. It will have to go Priority in order to have international tracking. You’ll need to enter the tracking number into the case so that eBay can see when it was delivered to the seller. Then, the refund automatically goes back to the payment method you used for the purchase; the seller has no control over that.
