seller upcharging
I went to buy an item from a seller. per his listing the item is 210.00 if i buy 3. i messaged the seller to see if he could over night the item. he responded that he could over night the item for 357.00. But then add that the price for each item would be 257.00. but would not respond after that point. so either i suck it up and buy it for the up sale price or i don't get it at all. and i have found 0 ways to contact ebay about this. how is this okay? why cant i contact ebay.

Mentor5 months ago@tescoequipmentandsupply The seller is in charge of their listing terms of sale.
If the seller is not being helpful then you should move on to another one.
Are you aware of how expensive overnight shipping is? The seller needs to charge you the extra shipping costs.
Overnight shipping has cut off times for when the seller has to have the package at the post office. Usually by 1 or 2 pm
The seller may use home pick up for their shipments. This may require a special trip to the post office.

OP5 months agoI am not complaining about the 357.00 shipping.
the issue is on ebay if i but 3 each is 210.00. but then he changed the price to 257.00 on top of the shipping.

OP5 months agoalso as far as cut off times go. i was messaging the guy at 9 am . he hasn't messaged all day after his orginal up charged message. i know this is a Chinese seller. so he was probably asleep while i have been waiting. but im questioning all of this because he seems to be doing crooked stuff here.

Mentor5 months agoI do advise against making international purchases due to tariffs. Buy from sellers with good selling feedback for similar items.
Or it could be a seller with a day job that doesn't allow them to check eBay messages.
