Seller Unable to Receive Payment
I recently purchased a watch from eBay. I received the watch and my payment was made through eBay. I was later contacted by the seller who told me they could not receive payment from eBay as they were not an American citizen. My money was refunded and the seller asked me to wire them money. I was uncomfortable with this request and told the seller I would send the item back. After requesting the address, the seller continued to send me their bank information. Their address, in Mexico, was included. I sent the item back to the address and it is now reported abandoned and costs $350 for me to get back. I am trying to receive back the item and send it again. Do I need to continue this process or am I liable for the item at this time. Trying to do the right thing, but the seller has become irritated with the situation. What should I do?
