Seller tricked the system into thinking an item was delivered when it wasn’t
What do I do? My item never arrived. I looked and the shipping showed 2 labels created but never reaching USPS. I had recently purchased from the seller with good results. I reached out to the seller. They replied they would help, but then they changed the shipping number to be the tracking number from the earlier delivery. So, now it showed delivered when it wasn’t. I filed a complaint with eBay, but with the item showing delivered, even though it wasn’t the earlier item and not this more expensive bundle, they closed the case. I’m out $143 and the seller used a gap in the system to beat me. I’m bummed and disappointed in eBay. I tried to appeal, but eBay just says case is closed. Is there a way to appeal. I included all the detail when I filed the not delivered case. I listed the earlier item and the tracking for it and explained the way that was used to trick them. But no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Mentor5 months agoTake the tracking number down to your local Fed Ex office and have them check their GPS for where the package was delivered. If it was NOT addressed to youi and your address, have the Fed Ex clerk state that on their letterhead. They don't need to state the name/address attached to the tracking number, just that it was not addressed to YOU.

Explain that the seller is using fake USPS tracking numbers
Include these phrases:
Seller uploaded tracking not associated with my transaction
Tracking details were not accurate
Seller use a false tracking number
Don't write a novel, it's initially being read by a computer, that's why I want you to use those 3 specific phrases in the message.

Mentor5 months ago@disneyshopper is the OP referring to FedEx as well as USPS?

I forgot to change the reference from Fed Ex to USPS in my macro, but the reply still stands.
