Seller took $500 and did not return, after selling the Van to someone else.
A seller of a van took $500 from me as a deposit, through PayPal in October 2023. Now it is 2024, and in January I learned that he sold the van to someone else, but has not returned the money to me. How best do I navigate the return of the money through eBay. PayPal said that it is already beyond the period of making a dispute claim, and so they suggested that I work with the bank that the money was withdrawn from; can I get the return taken care of through eBay?

Mentor2 years ago@creative109 I am so sorry that this happened. It's too late for eBay and most likely too late for a chargeback with your bank too.
