Seller told me to close the refund case for the item to be sent
The item was marked as shipped, but I never received it - so i opened a refund case. The seller told me to close the refund case as the item was sent back to them due to "shipping inconsistencies" and that it would be sent out shortly after the case is closed. I closed the case and then radio silence for another 2 weeks. Item not received (no tracking number or anything), seller ignoring my messages. Can't contact ebay for help because I already closed an opened case and cannot open another one. I feel like I got hustled real bad and I can't do anything about it.

OP1 year agoWhat a terrible system, ebay needs to do better. I literally got scammed and theres no way to report the seller so they dont do it again.

Ebay cannot help you since you willingly closed the case.
When a buyer closes a case, they are essentially telling Ebay that they no longer need help.

The seller lied to you. When you closed the case, you gave up any chance of Ebay helping you.
Contact the payment source you used to pay for the item to ask for a refund.
