Why is the seller telling you to cancel the order? Did you ask for a cancellation?
Only the seller can cancel the order. If he is reneging on his obligation to complete the sale, advise the seller that you want the item you ordered, but that if he is not going to complete the sale, he needs to cancel the order stating that the item is out of stock/damaged.
