Seller states that my buyer is a scammer in reviews. Should I take this seriously?

I just sold a vintage item and I messaged the buyer to ask them if they read the complete description and if they are satisfied with the condition of the item. The response from the buyer was that they would let me know if they were satisfied with the condition once they received it, which not the response I normally get. You do not need to ask Buyers those kind of questions about your listing, it might invite the wrong reply. If you feel your descriptions explain the item, condition, possible flaws, etc. then you have done your part.

A Buyer who is going to abuse the return process will find something wrong with the item regardless of how detailed you are. They are protected by the eBay MBG, you should familiarize yourself with it: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy

You also may be able to take advantage of Seller protections depending on whether or not a return is forced on you: Seller protections | eBay

Buyers can get away with lying, just so you know. If something wrong happens no a return the first thing you do is use the Report Buyer link on the sold item. Then review the seller protections to see if any apply.
