Seller states returns possible but refuses mine.
I ordered a bird arrived broken in half because there was NO packing around it. Seller needs a picture. HUH Tried to explain I am 86 years old and have NO cell phone or NO camera. I can only shop on E-Bay and this ends it if I have to deal with a seller like this. Why do I have to accept a broken item because I have no way of taking a picture.

Mentor1 year agoIf you are referring to where photos are required when you select to return the item that is not the seller requiring that its part of eBay's return process.

I am sorry that happened!
Have you opened a return request?
If not:
You should open a Return Request. The reason could be "Damaged or Defective Item" OR "Different from what I ordered > Didn't Match Description".
You can open your return request here. Just click the photo and follow the instructions.
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041
You will be able to print a label from here https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/returning-item/return-shipping?id=4066
-- You can check the status of your case here:

-- Here is a help page where you can learn more:

Do not close your return request until you either have your refund in hand or you have the replacement item. Do not close it because the seller promises you something.
Important: - If the return request process above asks for a photo, contact customer service here. They can waive the photo requirement. You can have eBay call you, here
