Seller sold me a wrong item and wants me to pay to return it.
I ordered a replacement screen for my Gallaxy A03s phone. The screen was advertised to fit 3 phone types. Mine being one of them and listed first. I received it and luckily I noticed the camera lens hole was in the wrong place before I took my phone apart. The sellers screen, camera lens hole, was in the upper corner. Mine is in the top center. I contacted the seller. He said I ordered the wrong one. I said I ordered the same one he was selling that matched my phone. He said the model of my phone was a screen he didn't carry.
He still said I ordered wrong. I said that his add didn't say anything about model numbers only the type of phone. I Googled the type of phone I have and it said there were 7 models. I looked up each model number and they all had pictures of each one that were said to be exact pictures of each model. Each one showed the screen having a circle in the top center and the one he sold me was in the top corner.
He said the model made a difference because each screen was different. If this is true there is no way for him to know which one I have when I order, and no way for me to know there is a difference because his add gives no indication of any difference. His add says I'm ordering a Gallaxy A03s replacement screen. The probability of him sending every customer the wrong screen is beyond comprehension. His add only says I need to order for an A03s.
He finally said I could send it back, after several go arounds, and I would be reimbursed.
He said I better know if the next screen I order will work before ordering. I don't foresee that, unless a model number is asked for, which isn't mentioned on his add.
He said I have to pay for the return postage because it was my fault. I don't see how it could be my fault. I think it should be paid by him because he sent me the wrong one and his add indicated that I ordered correctly.

·2 years agoUse your eBay 30-day Money Back Guarantee to open a return case.
Cite “significantly not as described†as the reason for the return.
If prompted, take a photo of the screen you received and submit the case.
Seller will either be required to send you a return shipping label, or issue a full refund (without return of the item).
If seller pays for the return, then use that label and return the item.
Upon receipt, the seller will have two (2) days to issue the refund. If they do not, you can ask eBay to step in and eBay will force the refund for you.
