Seller sold item locally that I won a bid on and paid for
I won a bid on a set of bunk beds and the seller sold them locally and I have already sent payment and the item I will never receive and now I just want my money back but seller is trying to say they did not receive payment and that is NOT true.
If you don't get a package from the seller by the time the estimated delivery date you were given when you paid has fully passed, go to your Purchase History for that item, click the link for more options and select that you haven't received the item, then follow instructions from there. If you haven't gotten the item as described or a full refund after 3 days (but before 21 days) from doing so go back and you should find a link to "Ask eBay to step in" to get your refund.
New sellers have trouble understanding that they are required to ship (within the "handling time" they told eBay it would take to deliver the item to the carrier) when EBAY gets the cleared payment. They are not allowed to wait until it is in their bank account (eBay puts a hold on funds from newer sellers until after delivery to protect itself against the seller taking the money out and not delivering the item as described, which eBay then has to cover the refund for; and even without that it takes a few days to get through the banking system) before their handling time starts.
