Seller sold bad item, no contact, eBay no contact help plz

Question

Is there an actual phone number to contact somebody with eBay for help when you have been jipped and not getting a refund and not getting sell a response and the date has passed? It doesn't recognize that there is a valid return anymore and therefore won't connect me to an agent. I am furious!

Thank you for this information. I was able to get a hold of someone through a security help line for eBay and they were able to help me with this.

If the buyer files a "not as described" return within thirty days of receipt of the item, eBay's money back guarantee applies.

If the seller does not provide for tracked return shipping, refund the buyer directly or refund once tracking shows the item has been returned to the seller, after three business days, the buyer can ask eBay to step in.

If a case is not filed within thirty days, or eBay is not asked to step in within twenty-one business days of starting a case, then the opportunity for getting a refund through eBay has passed.

After that point, the buyer may still have some recourse through the payment method. Many credit cards offer up to six months protection for items that are not as described.
