seller ships wrong part (not close to similar), asks me to approve refund, is this a scam?
I ordered a white part, a wall bracket (size like a chicken egg). The seller then tells me they shipped the wrong part, and asked me to approve a refund as the part "sold out".
The part arrived and it was a black used small bolt. I searched the sellers site and they do not list a part like this nor have ever sold a part like this.
It starts to look like a scam as the shipping label says white, bracket, and to ask me to cancel seems suspicious.
The bracket transaction seemed odd and suspicious that day it was cancelled on eBay, so I ordered one on Amazon and the same thing happened where the seller asked me to cancel so they could refund my order as it is out of stock.
Is this a scam to get my email and link it to may credit card or eBay account?
