Seller Shipping question
I am a newer ebay seller. I have sold a few items now, on all of them I have selected that the buyer pays for shipping. Once something has sold and I get the notice that my shipping label is available to print. I receive a message stating that "the payer has paid me $x.xx (the amount for shipping)". I print my label, ship the items and never get reimbursed the shipping cost. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you in advace

Mentor3 weeks agoThe money the buyer paid for shipping will be part of your payout from Ebay after the transaction has been completed.

The buyer pays eBay the total of the item cost, the shipping specified in the listing, and any sales tax.
eBay calculates its fee based on the total the buyer pays and removes the fee amount. eBay removes the sales tax and remits it to the buyer's state.
The remaining balance, including the buyer's payment for shipping, is made available to the seller after any payment hold expires. If the seller has set up the listing to purchase shipping from the proceeds of the sale, the funds are available for shipping prior to the hold being lifted, otherwise an alternative payment method is used for shipping.
