seller shipping options

Question

bought an item and seller purchased a label took it to USPS and they refused item it was to large and too heavy, what are the options now waiting for seller to ship thru a different carrier, but he already purchased a label?

If the package weighs more than 70 lbs, USPS will not accept it. They will have to get a shipping cost for UPS or FedEx who will ship items weighing up to 150lbs before having to use their Freight services.

Since the shipping cost will probably be more than the seller originally charged, you may have to ask them to cancel the order at your request, which will automatically refund you. Then they will need to get a new shipping quote and add the service they select to the listing and relist it. You then buy it again.

The Seller has 28 days to cancel the label they purchased through eBay. His account will be credited in 21 days or less. Sellers can purchase up to 5 labels through eBay on one transaction. If they come here and ask what to do that is what they will be told.

If they can ship with either UPS or FedEx they can buy the label through eBay and tracking will be provided for their protection.

If they do not ship you only have to wait one day past the original estimated delivery date to file a claim that you did not receive the item and the claim will lead to an eventual refund.

For myself I would be concerned that the Seller can pack the item securely enough to be shipped without damage. What was the item? Depending on how big and heavy it is they may have to ship it via a freight service which was not included on the origianl listing.
