Mentor5 months ago@vanlmsw46 They add the shipping cost to the item price for shipping to the state farthest from them.
Some sellers pick a midway point and use that shipping cost, they will lose money on shipping for some and make money on shipping for other items. This is works best for high volume sellers.
Other sellers use it as "loss leader" to drive traffic to their other listings.
