Seller shipping
I made a purchase 3/17. The seller just mailed it 3/25 from Arizona. My question is why should sellers think they can ship out when ever. Why isn't there a policy that sellers have 3 business days after an item is purchased to ship?

Sellers don’t have a fixed 3-day rule on eBay.
Each seller sets their own handling time in the listing, and it can range from same day up to 30 business days.
That’s why eBay shows you an estimated delivery date before you buy - it already includes the seller’s handling time plus shipping.
If the seller shipped within that timeframe, then they are following policy, even if it feels slower than expected.
If they shipped later than what was shown on the listing, then that would be outside their stated handling time, and it can impact their seller metrics, so there is accountability on the seller side as well.
