Seller sent wrong item to me then asked me to sent it to the correct buyer. Now, no reimbursement
Seller is no longer communicating with me and has not reimbursed me the money I put up to send the item to the correct buyer. So much for doing the right thing. Now I'm out the money I put up.

Mentor9 months ago@sergman22 I am so sorry that happened. Did you receive the correct item OR a full refund for it?
You should have filed a wrong item received refund request and returned the item for a full refund. Then could have purchased from the same seller again if you wished to do so. This is the best way to handle these types of issues.
A seller has no way to refund more the full refund amount through eBay. eBay can not force the seller to refund more than the original sale price and shipping.

OP9 months agoI did receive the refund for the original item I purchased yes. So what you are saying is that the money I spent to ship the wrong item I received is gone?

Mentor9 months ago@sergman22 Unless the seller sends you $ outside of eBay then yes the $ is unfortunately gone. Once a purchase is refunded in full the seller has no way to refund you anymore $ within eBay.
Sorry that the seller tricked you.
You can talk to customer service and see if they will give a courtesy refund for the shipping you were tricked in to paying.
