Seller sent an invalid return shipping label
Summary: vougetrove is dealing with a return issue where they received a defective item and were sent an incorrect return shipping label by the seller. The item was mistakenly shipped back to themselves, and they are unable to ask eBay to intervene. They are seeking advice on how to get a correct return label quickly before the return request is canceled. disneyshopper inquired if the return request was filed through eBay or just directly with the seller.
I'm trying to return an item and the seller sent me a bad return shipping label. I am a seller on eBay also but this is about a defective item I'm trying to return .
I shipped it back last week and it showed up in my mailbox today. Aperently I shipped it back to myself . I can't ask eBay to step in . That option isnt available. and I tried to contact the seller for a correct return shipping label.
I I only have a few more days to get it shipped back or they will cancel the return request. What can I do ?

Mentor1 week agoDid you file a returns request through ebay, the seller agreed, and ebay sent you a message with a link to print out the return shipping label, or did you just contact the seller and s/he sent you a return shipping label?

OP1 week agoI opened a return request. I have since emailed the seller several times ad they want to refund only half of what I paid for the item. The invalid shipping label that was sent through ebays return request never did show up in the system as being returned a k. Instead showed up back in my mailbox a week later .
So now it looks like the item was delivered to me twice. This is very odd. Ive never seen anything like this before. I'm wondering how I can contact eBay?
