Seller sent a part that didn't fit. E Bay so no return
I purchased a set of seat covers from a dealer on E-Bay. The seller asked for my VIN to verify fit. It was given. Seat covers arrived and don't fit my truck. I sent him pictures proving they don't fit. I also sent him screen shots of other dealers that say they don't fit my Ram TRX. Some dealers show they fit but they don't as I showed him in actual pictures of my truck. He won't do a return. He says they fit and I changed my mind. Told me to resale them. I contacted E-Bay to do a return. My reasoning was 'Item Doesn't fit'. It was denied and case closed. E-Bay says I should have said, 'Not as described'. They said since I didn't the case is closed. They don't fit! Been an E-Bay member since nearly the beginning and am shocked by this. What to do besides closing my account. Can't trust E-Bay to make a reasonable conclusion.

·3 years agoCS finally got something right, you should have selected the item doesn't match the description.
When you selected it doesn't fit, that's considered a remorse return and they can deny a return if they have a no return policy.
If you paid through Pay Pal, open a case with them, but use not as described and you'll have to pay return shipping.
Or contact your credit card.

·3 years agoSorry, but Item does not Fit according to eBay is a Buyer's Remorse reason to return an item and does not qualify for eBay's Money Back Guarantee.

OP3 years agoSeems pretty stupid. It doesn't fit because its the wrong part. Why would anyone buy from E-Bay with that way of thinking? It doesn't fit.

·3 years agoDoesn't fit is used mainly for clothing and shoes when a buyer buys the wrong size and tries to return it.
When you buy an item that says it will fit a certain application and it doesn't, then it would be not as described.

OP3 years agoWhat I'm saying is it's exactly as described, A rear seat cover, But it Doesn't fit. Not knocking you but E-Bay has no understanding of when something doesn't fit.
