Seller sends an item, NOT THE SIZE LISTED; EBay claims this is NOT a violation of their policy?
I ordered and paid for an item that was listed as XL. The jacket arrived and: It did not meet the size guidelines for an XL jacket (US Standards) and the item had the size label cut out/removed.
I contacted EBay, provided photos of the measurements (using a tape measure) AND a photo showing that the size label was removed.
Ebay claims this inaccurate claim of sizing from the seller does not violate the Ebay Policy?
Any suggestions or thoughts.

You will have to prove that the item was not the size as listed, as in doesn't match the label or does not match the dimensions specified on the listing page.
If there is no label on the item nor were there dimensions specified on the listing page, then Ebay will not be able to help you. Did you file a Return Request? What reason did you choose? If you chose "Item doesn't fit", that is not covered by Ebay's Money Back Guarantee.
As a buyer, I always make sure there are photos of the label showing the size and/or measurements on the listing page before making a purchase. If there are no photos of the sizing label or no dimensions in the description, I choose to not purchase the item.
