Seller self shipping
has any seller shipped an item themselves without using the ebay "buyer selected" shipping method? Does ebay need to get confirmation of delivery before extending payment to seller's account?

You do not have to buy your label through eBay. If you don’t, you need to load the tracking # into your sold order.
You can send by a faster method, but you should not send by a slower method or you might not meet the estimated delivery date.
You should not change carriers from what you offered in your listing or what the buyer selected if you offer multiple choices - some buyers have very strong feelings about ups, usps, and fedex. If you want to change carriers, check with your buyer.
