Seller says they have no mechanism to leave me feedback

Question

I purchased an item from a seller and left them positive feedback after the transaction was completed. I asked them to leave me feedback as well. They replied "Dear Customer, there is no feature allowing sellers to leave positive feedback to customers.

Customers can only leave feedback for sellers." Is this true for some sellers? I am also a seller and always have the option to leave feedback. Do I have any recourse?

For a purchase made through an eBay account that is not true at all, the Seller is clueless or does not want to leave FB and is lying.

Guest purchases mean that neither party can leave Feedback on the transaction.
