Seller said they’re “out of town for a week…†after I won an autction
Is this a scam? Seller said right after I won the bid/auction “her I totally messed up and forgot I was out of town this week, I can’t ship till I get back…â€
is this a scam? I’m guessing there’s a 5 or 7 days window that expires for me as the buyer after this time…
any help/suggestions would be appreciated

Mentor1 year agoNot necessarily a scam, the seller may not have realized the auction ended when they are out of town. Unfortunately the seller cannot use the "Time Away" option for auction listings so it can be a problem for a seller.
No matter what you are protected by eBay's Money Back Guaranty. Just click on the MBG logo on any listing to learn your rights and responsibilities under the guaranty.

You can file a Refund Request when the latest estimated date of delivery has passed by at least 1 day.
