so i recently shipped a package all i did was do my job by ebay rules and pack up the package and print label and ship, the package gets there and the buyer had to pay a $50 fee to get his package because it was through media mail I’ve sent him a reimbursement of $50 but i can see on the order in bold lettering that the SELLER has chosen for the item to be shipped Via Media Mail ? what can i do ? Am i in the wrong ?

Mentor11 months agoYou cannot ship shoes via media mail. Media mail is for books and printed material. You should have set up the listing with ground advantage or priority. The USPS can inspect media mail packages and assess a fee for improper usage and then ship it the most expensive way. Make sure your current listings are set up correctly or you risk losing your selling account.

Yes, you are in the wrong with the one pair of sneakers you listed and sold with Media Mail.
Did you just drop the package off at the Post office or did you stand in line to have the clerk scan your package in?

Normally if you ship via USPS and there is an error on the label you get charged the additional shipping cost through your eBay account via the APV system between USPS and eBay.
