Seller return scam?
I placed an order and was sold a defective item. I followed the return instructions and received a confirmation email from eBay saying the seller accepted my return request and then received a 2nd email with a return details and a link to print out the mailing label and return the item. When I click the link to print the return label I get an error saying the link doesn't work and now the item no longer shows up in my account as ever being ordered. It's simply gone. I have the original order number and seller info but when I search that order number in my account it says the order number doesn't exist. **bleep**? Can a seller just delete an entire order history within eBay and pretend it never happened, so they don't need to accept the return? Clearly I've been scammed.
