Seller return question
A buyer started a return, I received the item back, issued a refund, but at the bottom of the refund page it states that shipping costs will be taken out of the buyers refund. Buyer says he paid to ship back when label was printed. Why is the buyer being charged twice for shipping label?
Does eBay not charge the buyer for shipping until the refund is issued?

Mentor2 years agoThe buyer was not charged when he printed the label. The label cost is always withheld from the refund, since the buyer can change their mind about returning the item.
Suggest to the buyer that they review the charge with customer service, if they are convinced their card was charged for the label.
