Seller requests better replies for bad items
I bought 3 out of 4 items on eBay all in the music category. All 3 were defective. I'm now getting requests from 2 sellers to lie about the condition of the items I bought.

·2 years agoIf the seller is saying s/he will refund after you post a positive review that is "Feedback Extortion" against eBay rules. https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/feedback-policies/feedback-extortion-policy?id=4230&st=3&pos=1&query=Feedback%20extortion%20policy&intent=feedback%20extortion&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1225 Open a Return Request for the item not as described or pictured in your Purchase History and go back to the details of the case there to "Ask eBay to step in" 3 to 21 days after doing do so.
If you mean something else we'd need more detail to help or advise you.

Did you file a 'return request' ... or contact the sellers ... for the defective items you received?
If you are leaving negative feedback before giving your sellers a chance to correct the problem ... you aren't making the best use of eBay.
Feedback is supposed to be the last step in the process of handling a problematic purchase. That way you can give the most honest assessment of how a seller deals with problems.
[Since buyers are only able to receive positive feedback ... sellers evaluate buyers by checking the feedback they've left for previous sellers. If your feedback profile looks like you're too trigger-happy in leaving negs ... you will find yourself being blocked from buying by those sellers who check buyer's feedback before considering offers, etc.]
