·3 years agoYes, Ebay can hold their funds, but the seller needs to ship within their handling time.

Yes, items sold for at or over $ 1000 can have the funds held for 30 days. New or low activity accounts can have the funds held for up to 21 days for normal purchases under 1K. Below is a link the eBay Help Pages on payment holds.

OP3 years agoSo I am the buyer and the seller is concerned with amount of time eBay is holding funds. If I receive the item and everything is above board is there a way I can contact eBay to release his funds. I assume that eBay holds funds to make sure people are reputable.
