Seller reneged on initial agreement and refuses to send the item
Summary: emeraldlover expresses frustration with a seller for repeatedly canceling a transaction after initially agreeing on a price for an emerald parcel. Despite the seller first sending an offer at $380 and later attempting to raise the price by $200, they eventually agreed again on the original price. However, the seller canceled the transaction once more, leading emeraldlover to call for the seller to be banned from the platform. This experience has severely impacted their trust in the platform.
I have had it with this seller. So first he sends me an offer for an emerald parcel and he tells me to accept, so he finally talks me into it and i accept. then he arbitrarily cancels the order, and tries to raise the price on me by $200. I'm like, no way, we agreed to the original price, he even sent me an offer for $380. so now after much back and forth he agrees to sell me the items to $380. So i put the transaction through again. But then he cancels the transaction again making up some bs excuse. tbh i think he changed his mind and wants a higher price for the item, but he has frustrated me beyond believe and should not be able to sell on ebay bc you don't do business like this. when you agree on a deal, it is final. he even sent me the offer. this seller should be banned from ebay. I can't believe he cancelled the transaction and tried to jack the price up on me. like honestly, it's a fair value and he didn't make a mistake in listing the itme, but i have become so frustrated with him. Like just ship me the stones that I paid for! this whole experience has ruined ebay for me and honestly i don't know if i'll buy from here again.

Mentor3 weeks ago@emeraldlover Don't let one bad apple spoil your eBay shopping experience. There are lots of good sellers out there, this seller doesn't sound like one of them.
I would not want to give me $ to any seller that canceled my order just to try and get a higher price. If you have this much trouble before a sale is complete what confidence do you have that the item will ship and be as described?
While eBay can't force a seller to sell an item they do keep track of seller cancelations. Especially if they canceled as out of stock. The seller would receive a DEFECT on their account for the cancelation, not too many defects and the seller can be banned from eBay.

Suspicious seller activity> Other then state in the box that the seller canceled the order and raised the price several times.
