Seller refusing prepaid return label and lying about return – urgent help needed
I need urgent help with a return for order #297471005337. I bought a FNAF plush set, and it arrived defective and not as described: Foxy was missing a nose and the plushies are different from the listing photos. The seller accepted the return but is refusing to provide a prepaid return shipping label and instead repeatedly asks me to provide PayPal information to reimburse the shipping, which I cannot and will not do. They also offered partial compensation ($5) and asked me to delete my review. Despite all this, the eBay system says the seller “provided a way to return the item,†which is completely false. I cannot take any action in the app because it assumes the seller has provided a return method, but they haven’t. I have screenshots of all messages, photos of the defective items, and proof of the seller’s attempts to manipulate the process. The return deadline is approaching, and I don’t want to lose my refund due to the seller’s misconduct and the platform’s limitations. I am requesting guidance on how to escalate this immediately so eBay can intervene, either by providing a prepaid label or issuing a refund without requiring a return, because the seller is refusing to comply.
