Seller refuses to ship to winning bidder
I am the winning bidder in an auction. The seller did not like the outcome and cancelled the order, with the excuse “bad shipping address†- a lie. I contacted the seller and asked the seller to honor the auction process. Seller said I could send another $24 - they were in the business to make money (obviously, my winning bid didn’t make them enough). What can be done? I provided my honest review of this dishonest seller and I reported the seller, but really - what are the seller’s consequences? The seller has re-listed the item for auction.

If you reported the seller, they should have received a defect from Ebay. Too many defects will affect their seller rating.

First screen>the seller has violated one of Ebay's policies
Second screen>the seller doesn't want to complete the sale.
State in the comment box that the seller cancelled using a fake reason for the cancellation and they asked for more money.
