Seller refuses to refund money
I purchased a cargo box for my UTV. The sellers description is wrong, item doesn't fit on machine. Seller refuses to take item back and only wants to refund partial amount on total purchase. I've tried to contact eBay over this but it's all automated. I need help to straighten this out. Thanks!!.

The seller is not obligated to accept the Return Request since "Item doesn't fit" is not covered by the Ebay Money Back Guarantee.
If you filed a Return Request you needed to state "Item doesn't match description".

OP2 years agoThat's what I did state. Sorry my terminology wasn't correct. In the return options that was one of the choices you mentioned and I selected. After 18 yrs. buying and selling on eBay it surprises me people still try to scam when selling then try to weasel out of the issue they created. 2nd. party vendors are the worst. Selling out of a warehouse that they don't have a clue about and the product they're selling. I called eBay directly and the problem was solved.
