Seller refuses to refund an article that I never receivedâ€¦..help please

Ordered an article on Dec 18th 2025, paid in full

When it didnâ€™t arrive (Christmas present) I sent a message to inquire the status.

He replied me that he was so sorry but forgot to take it of eBay because he sold it already.

Now he doesnâ€™t want to refund me because I told him that I was not happy with his handling!

Asked for a refund next to eBay order, but nothing is happening.

The EBay chat proposes a call back from an agent in 2 minutes but nobody calls either.

What are my options? How to get my money back?

If you opened a Refund request then follow next steps:

If the seller hasn't responded, or hasn't provided a resolution after 3 business days, you can ask us to step in. You have up to 21 business days from when you opened the original request.

Here's how you can ask eBay to step in:

Find the item in your Purchases.
In the More Actions drop down menu, select See request details.
Select Ask eBay to step in and help.
Select a reason from the dropdown menu, then select Confirm.
