seller refuses to provide return shipping label
Ordered an item and started a return immediately due to item not being the quality that was expected, but now Seller will not pay for a return shipping label. And this is taken directly from his item posted,
"Returns: 30 days returns. Seller pays for return shipping."
Ebay states "The seller's responsible for return shipping charges, so you can ask for a return shipping label." There is a deadline of May 12 for return on this item, but Ebay states a deadline of April 29. It is a small item from India. What can I do? Thanks in advance any suggestions.

A foreign seller is unable to provide a domestic shipping label. They would need to send buyer the money upfront to purchase the label.
If you don’t receive either money for the label OR a full refund by the 4th business day after you opened the return request … then go back to your open request and ask eBay to step in. [You won’t see the link to do that until it is time to use it.]

If the seller is from another country, s/he will have to send enough funds to cover return shipping, because the seller cannot provide a shipping label good in this country, or they can refund in full without having you return the item.
If the seller does neither, click on the link to Ask ebay to step in, when it shows up in the case.

OP2 years agoDoes it matter if it was sent via a local out of state distribution center? I am in Missouri, return address on envelope is Pennsylvania?
