Seller refuses to issue refund
I have a seller that is refusing to issue a return on items that are broken/working incorrectly because of lack of knowledge on their part or just bad packaging. They are telling me to do a claim with USPS. It is very frustrating that they will not take responsibility for this. I am a A+ buyer and seller and they have an 85% satisfaction rating. Do you think eBay will make them issue the refund?

Mentor3 years agoThe system is automated, but please return and ask questions if you need to. If you purchased from an overseas seller, DO NOT close the case if they ask. Once closed, you will not get a refund. Follow through and watch the dates. Don't let it time out.

Mentor3 years agoFYI
All sellers have 100% feedback because they can't receive negatives. Personally, I would never consider buying from a seller with less than 99% feedback.

OP3 years agoI usually don't either but my son had a mishap and some shelving gave out and he lost some of his pieces. I was trying to replace a couple. I will never give the benefit of the doubt again and use a seller with anything under a 99%...learned my lesson on this one.

Yes, Ebay will make sure you receive a refund after you return the item(s) under their 30 day Money Back Guarantee.

Mentor3 years ago85% feedback is terrible. You don't need to ask the seller's permission. Go to your purchase history, find the item, and click on return. Choose the reason as not as described. The seller has 3 business days to refund. On the 4th business day, you can ask eBay to step in and a refund will be forced. This is the 30 day money back guarantee, with info on nearly every listing on the site.
