Seller received the returned lens and kept my full $1,200 payment

I want to publicly share my experience with the seller ankoromochi_camera_jp so that other buyers can take it into consideration before making a purchase.
I purchased a camera lens from this seller and paid both the full purchase price and the corresponding import taxes. The package was expected to arrive before a trip I had already scheduled, but the delivery was delayed and the item arrived after I had already left the country.
Before traveling, I contacted the shipping company several times and tried to find alternative ways to receive or pick up the package. I also paid the import charges immediately in order to avoid any additional delay. I have payment receipts, call records, and screenshots documenting these attempts.
By the time I was able to communicate again, the package was already being returned and I had no opportunity to stop the return process.
The seller has now received the lens back and is also keeping the full amount I paid, approximately USD 1,200. The seller has claimed that there were shipping and return-related costs, but so far I have not been provided with a clear breakdown or documentation showing that those expenses justify retaining the entire purchase amount.
I am not asking for any legitimate expenses to be ignored. I am simply asking for those costs to be properly documented and deducted transparently, with the remaining balance refunded to me.
My main concern is that the seller currently has both the lens and 100% of the money I paid.
I have asked eBay to review the case again, and I can provide documentation supporting everything described above.
I am sharing this experience publicly so there is a clear record of what happened and so that other buyers can take this information into account before purchasing from ankoromochi_camera_jp.

Mentor1 month ago@angeltorresa-0 I am sorry that happened. Unfortunately under the eBay Money Back Guarantee sellers are not required to refund for items that are returned to sender.
The buyer refused delivery of the item ( while it was not refused by you not deliverable is covered under the same policy. )
Covered:
The item arrived with shipping cost still owing because the seller didn't apply enough postage
Not covered:
The buyer refused delivery for any other reason
You can try contacting customer service on social media but you most likely will need to pursue a chargeback with your payment method.
Do NOT go to your payment method until you exhaust all options with eBay as eBay will no longer be able to help and then the payment methods decision is final even if you do not receive a refund.
