Seller rating
I am an eBay seller sometime back a person left bad feedback and said that something did not get shipped which it did get shipped and it wasn't shipped late it was 2 before late. It reduced my feedback to less than 100% and now I cannot get to a live person which I have been able to get someone to fix something like this before now I can't get to anything I have to make a choice before it goes further and none of these is my problem

Mentor2 years agoIt's too bad you waited until now to address this as you might have been able to turn things around several months ago.
When the feedback was left, you could have contacted the buyer, provided the tracking # and kept him apprized of the movement through the delivery stream. Perhaps then, the buyer would have been willing to revise the feedback. It's too late for a feedback revision now. The negative will roll out of your percentage calculation a year after it was left.

OP2 years agoI had this happen less than 6 months ago someone left feedback that simply wasn't true and much later I realized this now I wasn't trying to change the feedback I was able to call in and talk to a live person and that person put in and got my seller rating corrected they did not change the feedback nor was I asking them to they simply like in this case saw the thing got shipped and went okay got it and adjusted my seller rating I know it can be done I had it done once before. This person chose 10-day shipping and two days later he says hey it's not shipped he didn't know what he was even doing. And now you're telling me I have to live with this for a year. No it is not satisfactory. Merry Christmas

Mentor2 years agoThe reason eBay changed the feedback was because there was proof that the package was shipping per the listing terms. That can be done within about 60 days (90 days tops). If it's over that, it's too late.
