seller raised price after declining best offer
I found an animatronic Halloween decoration for sale for $215 or Best Offer. I submitted an offer that was declined. The seller then immediately raised the listing price of the item to $400. I don't think this is acceptable, seems like a bait and switch scenario. Is there a policy addressing this?

If this were a bait and switch situation, the seller would be pressuring you to buy an inferior product for the same price as the item you wanted. That doesn't relate to your situation.
As already advised, a seller can change his pricing at any time (just as sellers do everywhere). A seller can accept, decline, or ignore an offer. He is under no obligation to accept it.

Mentor4 months agoNo rules are broken. Seller can decline any offer and they can raise or lower price as they please

Mentor4 months agoSeller has no obligation to accept any offer and can change the price as long as no sale, bid, or offer, is pending.
