Seller raised price $100 during active negotiations

Question

Buyer head item listed for $750. Raise priced $850 during active negotiations.

I attempted to communicate no response. Made an offer on the product for $750 offer expired.

I have a photo of the $750 price. Do I have any recourse?

Yeah… sounds like the seller saw interest and decided to bump the price.

Not a great look, but they’re allowed to do it. Until you actually buy it or they accept your offer, nothing is locked in.

Happens sometimes - people test the market, get attention, then raise it.

At this point there’s really nothing to push back on. You can either wait and see if it comes back down or just move on.

Sellers can increase the price of the item they are selling at any time.
