Seller questions on card delivered
I sold a expensive sports card in auction eBay had me send to authentication it was there for like 10 days asked about it daily. finally one day eBay claimed authentication said the package was delivered and signed for but it was open and card missing usps won’t pay claim out because it was delivered eBay claims authentication said it arrived like that mind you they sat in it for 10 days before claiming this. I paid for insurance thru eBay but being told I m out 5k basically so I plan to file lawsuit now anyone else experience these issues.

So you are saying from your location to the Authentication center the package had been opened BEFORE authentication? What type of "package"? I hope it was a box and not a bubble mailer or something like that.
Who would you file suit against, USPS or eBay's Authentication center?

OP5 months agoeBay sent letter saying it arrived like that 1 how would eBay know they took word of authentication dept I assume to minimize responsibility but they had that package on in site for 10 days than claimed it came open to my knowledge usps won’t deliver open package

OP5 months agoI have the pics authentication sent the bubble mailer was not ripped but cut down back seam of bubble mailer and what looks like a 2 inch piece of tape holding together a 8 inch cut down seam and authentication wants me to believe it came like that empty with missing card
